I've been having some on going issues with GBPVR working properly and i've googled and searched these boards for answers. My ongoing problem is that I dont get a "live tv" image. I've reinstalled XP twice and GBPVR twice (no extra plugins) and Ive tried different codecs. It seems that when i do get "live TV" to work, it stops working (no live TV) after it records a show or two.
Now what i'm thinking is that, and yes, this might be a lame question, but I know if i have the correct drivers installed and would like someone to verify that I'm downloading the right drivers on the Happauge site.
To me, the site isn't too clear on which drivers is needed for my card (PVR 500 FM radio). I am NOT using the Media Center, just GBPVR.

Here's a link to the drivers:
http://www.hauppauge.com/pages/support/s...0.html#drv

I'm 98% certain that I do have the correct drivers, especially know that there arn't any conflicts with my card in hardware devices.
------------------------------
here what the driver page says:
* Download two files to your computer:
WinTV-PVR-150 base driver: pvr150_500_2043_24103.exe
WinTV-PVR-150 driver update and middleware: pvr150_22_23257.exe
* Run the pvr150_500_2043_24103.exe file, which will install the base driver
* At the completion of the driver install, you should see a message which says Drivers have been updated sucessfully..
* After Windows has loaded the base driver, run the PVR150_22_23257.exe driver updater.

This will complete the driver installation for the WinTV-PVR-150.
------------------------------------------
This is what i find confusing.
Do i install the (A) pvr150_500_2043_24103.exe
and the
(B)WinTV-PVR-150 driver update and middleware: pvr150_22_23257.exe ?

This shows that, (B) is for the PVR 150 and not 500.

Can someone point out the drivers that are needed plz?
Also is the WINTV2000 required for GBPVR? Im assuming that it is not because GBPVR does what WINTV2000 does.

thanks guys
