Hi there,

I keep all my music scanned & indexed in the excellent MediaMonkey music manager (it's easily the best Windows music player I've tried by a mile or two) - which scans all my MP3 files periodically and maintains an Access database of all the ID3s etc.

Very similar to what ML2 does, don't you think? So how feasible might it be to one day have an option to refer out to my MediaMonkey .mdb file instead of having ML2 do a duplicate scan?

Just a thought...

I suppose it would be quite feasible as long as there is no security on the database. I'll add to my list of things to look at (it's on the wiki).
