Firstly, just wanted to say, top software !
Beats the pants off Sage TV, you have the OSD working great through the PVR 350 - which is my big hook.

I understand that Divx through the PVR 350 tv out is not available - Is it possible to have this software decoded and sent through the TV out ? (Im assuming not - I convert AVI to MPEG2 to put them in the video files folder at the moment and get a conversion rate of about 3 fps !Wink

Will you be introducing Pause of live TV ?

Would be nice to be able to suppress the mini channel info that pops up when viewing live TV - I use a cable decoder for input and that pops up channel info - the 2 of them can be confusing on screen at the same time !

Reminders would be nice - e.g. not auto record - just an on screen message to say that program you had flagged earlier was about to start (amount of time b4 program starts is in config.)

Hope you don't think the above are moaning - just suggestions, I think it's great what you are doing and am really appreciative of the work you are putting in on your own time to make this available to us - THANKS.

Cheers

Yep, I cant really see a way to transcode to mpeg2 on the fly (efficiently) so that it can be sent to the tv out of the PVR350.

You can currently pause live tv.

I dont quite under stand the comment about the channel info popup. Please explain further. Current I show information for a few seconds after changing channels (has a blue bar). I also show mini-guide information when you press the green button (has green bar). Last, I also show information when the stream is paused. Which situation would you like to be configurable? Is it the few seconds after a channel change - does you service popup info at this time? I assume you still want the mini-guide (green bar).

I agree that some notification about pending recording would be good.

Thanks for the feedback.

Hi,

Thanks for the quick reply. Too clarify my point about the channel info, I meant the blue bar that pops up when you initially change the channel, my current provider NTL also pops up info about the new channel you have changed too. (This is more a nice to have, it in no way detracts from the product).

I feel a bit of a dufus about the pause question - I must read the documentation more thouroghly - my apologies.

Thanks for taking tthe time to reply.

Cheers

Sub, I think what Mark is referring to regarding the channel info, is that when you change channels on a tuner box, it displays it's own channel info which competes with your channel info.

I know SageTV allows you to send a Cancel command after every channel change; this will clear the tuner box's channel info, leaving solely your info on the screen.

I would also appreciate this addition.

Thanks,
Chris
