Temporarily disable a season record

Here's my scenario. I have a show that comes out with new episodes in like 6-episode batches, every couple months. During the time when there are no new shows, they play reruns. So currently, i set a season record, then have to delete it during the reruns, and then set it again when they start with new episodes (this also effects the way gbpvr keeps a certain number of shows, because i have it set to keep 5, but once i delete and then start a new season recording for this show, it adds 5 more to the allready existing 5). A way to simply suspend a season record until you re-enable it would be very useful.

I second this. I'd like to see it integrated into the EWA as a checkbox though. Now that would be cool.

Probably shouldn't mention it, but CDK Scheduler has a suspend option, as well as not publicly release EWA support for it in scheduling shows.

Yes, you can use CDK Scheduler independent of XRecord. You'll have to edit the PriorityRecording.xml file by hand.

To suspend a Recording, just set the Suspend element to True. It won't suspend any already scheduled recordings, but won't schedule any new recordings for that entry until the element is reset to False.

The EWA integration isn't publicly available yet. With that said, if UncleJohnsBand would like it, I can give him what Ton and I wrote, a while ago. It makes use of a few interface classes that were created for EWA a while ago so probably wouldn't be overly difficult to get working with the current release. I have a version working for the 0.96 release, but it would need to be merged into the current branch of EWA.

How the integration works, is controled throught EWA Configuration, where you select whether to use CDK Scheduler or not. If that configuration option is set, then the CDK Scheduler options on the Manage, and any area where recording is done is enabled.
