How to change colour of only some button?

How can I change only one or two button to be have another colour as a warning NOT to delete/cancel a show permanently when I want to exit from current menu? I always get confused which button will do what even in Norwegian (had to use English to see more clear what they do), so I will not by accident stop a recording.

Button that I might mix up its purpose:

Cancel
Exit

and to some degree

Delete

I think it would help to make these button in another colour then the white border and/or text so it will be visual clear that these button can do. This way you know that these button should be only chosen when you really want to delete or cancel a file/movie/recording from being stored.

Any suggestion on how to do this?

As a different solution, if you go back to using the norwegian translation, you can edit the texts for the buttons yourself to your liking, to something more intuitive to you than the original translator thought of.

I guess that would work when using English, too, right? Only add "translations" for the buttons you want to be warned about...

another good solution to this is instead of navigating to the exit button to exit a menu, just hit "esc" or whatever the escape key of your Norwegian keyboard says:p if you have the Hauppauge remote and set it up properly, it should be the back/exit button on the remote

How and where do I do this? I did look into some xml files in GBPVRs main directory, but I want to be sure not to mess up my setting once more...

What skin would be the most stable after "blue"? I did try "advisory skin", but that seem to mess up my system or I didn't understand how to place each part in the right folder....

Not sure... i've never tried it, I just know that you can change the translations. I'm not sure whether you can change the "translations" for English (are there any?), but you should be able to add your own "language" (call it Blizardian, or whatever ) and then only add translations for the words that you really want to have different words for. The rest should use the default English word.
