Don't get too excited about it! You will be cursed with intermittent problems if you do. Adelphia and Time-Warner cable here are notorious when there is a major outage like that once they reconnect it, there are problems for a good day after

A truck driving through a cable cabnet on the side of the road has delay the release a bit. I've had no internet or cable tv signal for nearly the last 24 hours.

I'm currently sitting in an internet cafe getting my quick fix.
