Guys,

Does anyone know how to cancel more then one recording at a time through the web interface of GBPVR? I what to select say 3 or more shows and hit cancel recordings. That way I don't have to hit cancel recording for every show that I don't want to record. Thanks in advance for your help.

ehh...and what about the use of web server and browser (IE or FF) to select multiple recording to delete? That is possible with EWA. It is a built in feature of GBPVR and you will not need to add anything to use EWA with standard feature in GBPVR.

Activate Config.exe in GBPVR (you can find this in task bar). Pick web scheduling in misc. tab. (last option). Tick of "enable GBPVR web server on port" and choose a name and password. This will make GBPVR act as server and with an open port (see port number in firewall and the number for GBPVR) you will be able to change recording with the help of your web browser.

Your standard local computer have 127.0.0.1 as main http adresse and you can find your network IP with start>run [cmd] *will open DOS prompt*: write [ipconfig /all] *will give you your IP adress*

Use that to access your computer like this:

IPCONFIG /ALL

>122.133.10.33

From web port: 7467 (setting in config for web administration)

http://122.133.10.33:7467/gbpvr/login.aspx *this will make it possible to access your system for internet if you have open port 7467 in windows firewall*
http://127.0.0.1:7467/gbpvr/login.aspx *same as above, but only for local computer*

You don't need to open firewall port (invisible from internet) if you only want to use guide and use web interface for recording, instead of normal view of GBPVR.

I suggest you try this even if you will not use GBPVR from outside your house as web browser offer better control for some features like deleting several show at once or look a show up by imbd (movie database).

 What????

I think the question was how do you delete multiple recordings at one time via EWA.....you seem to be answering how to get EWA to work.

You can not delete multiple recordings at one time via EWA....which is the correct answer to the question.

Some times there is more then just one way to answer a question. Wink What I show is that the web interface make it possible to have a faster overview and to find recorded files in one window (tab for Firefox). It is another user interface that can handle GBPVR operation in a more convenient manner then the standard shell of GBPVR with a limited field to show each recording where you have to go back and forth to do the same thing. Right now you can not just do a search and line every recording up like you can for by doing a search for future program that are not yet scheduled, but I imagine that it wouldn't be to hard to make something like that in the future (or re-write something so it will produce a table with scheduled recoding that could be deleted by ticking radio boxes).

Yep....I understood that....what confused me was the original question tells me the person already has EWA up and running......

This is correct on all accounts.....there is an item on the Todo/Wishlist on the wiki to add this functionality to EWA.

I know this is an old thread but as an alternative to cancelling multiple recordings at a time, how about in ewa tree view when you expand a listing and you get the:

[Play Program] [Download] [Stream]
dialog at the bottom.

Add a [Delete] button as a fourth button.
