I have the USB 'beanbag' IR receiver/blaster combo that comes with the PVR150 MCE bundle and all is working perfectly apart from when I want to send IR commands via the blaster to a channel with the same number pair (e.g. 11, 222, 33 etc) in which case a number will usually get dropped or sometimes doubles up (so channel 22 actually tunes to channel 2 or 222) - all other multiple digit combinations work perfectly as long as the numbers are different (so channel 121 is fine etc).

I don't want to use HIP (I have tried it but would prefer to use the in-built support which otherwise works great) - I know this is an IR timing issue where a delay needs to be introduced between digits so my question is is there a config/registry parameter I can change to request GB-PVR to introduce an IR transmit delay in its MCE2005 remote setup (if not, it it likely to ever be added?)

Many thanks in advance for any help offered and thanks to Stu for an excellent product!

There is no setting to modify the delay in GB-PVR. You'd need to use something like HIP or Girder to control this.

I have added a configurable delay for the next release, but I'm not convinced it'll help you - usually if people have problems with same number pairs like this, it usually relates to the use of a toggle bit by their device (google for more).

Who's Stu?

Ooops - I meant to say 'sub' not 'stu' (my brain is a little fried after staying up late playing with my PVR - apologies! Smile)

I did a couple of quick experiments with two of the same remote (I have several STBs) alternating button presses and also tried interrupting the IR pulses whilst keeping a button pressed. From what I can tell, in this case it doesn't look like a toggle bit issue - (I certainly hope it's not)

As soon as the new version is out I will happily try modifying the delay and will report my findings back to the thread.

Thanks again for a great product and your help!
