PVR150 MCE remote in XP Pro?

All, Thanks for the responses. I tried just about everything just short of an XP reinstall. But finally came across this:

Unplug IR device
Open folder MCE_Remote_Patch on the Hauppauge CD
Run WindowsXP-KB912024-v2-x86-ENU.exe (for English only - there are othe rlanguages on the CD)
Reboot
Plug in IR device

That should do it, it did it for me!

lmao, I knew I saw that hotfix # somewhere else. For some reason I could not get it to work from MS's site. Some kind of conflict, I cannot recall.
