Is someone here able send me a very short mpg2 clip that contains closed captions. I'll worry about recording after, but a sample for playback would be good. Just a few seconds will do.

Would people find it benefical to have closed captioning support for software playback, if I ignore the MVP and PVR350? It would be very difficult to support the MVP and PVR350 because they dont have any direct support for it. Its not impossible, but there would be a lot more features that would be higher on the priority list. I could probably lose a whole month implementing close captioning for the MVP and PVR350.

I don't know about anyone else but I'm using the PVR-250

I did have closed captions sort of going with VMR7/VMR9, and tried to include it in the v0.13 release but it wasn't reliable so I've had to disable it. Sorry.

It would work great on the first video, but only play the end of each subsequent video. I didn't want to hold the release up any longer, so I'll look at it again for the next release.
