IR blaster Question

Will any IR Blaster work with the PVR 150 card? I have one from an old Replay TV that had 2 of them with it.

What kind of IR Blaster? If it's the default Hauppauge one it should work (though they have a high defective rate).

If it's not the Hauppauge one, I'm assuming it's a serial IR blaster of some sort? This will work fine, but you'll need to use Girder or something to control it.
