I dont think you can upgrade from a release that old. You'd probably need to do a clean install. ie, uninstall, delete gbpvr directory, reinstall

Wow thanks for the fast response! I just realized I posted this in the MVP section by mistake to I erased it after you replied.

Yeah I did do an uninstall of the older version, and after the first time the new install did not work, I tried uninstalling the new version and reinstalling it only to get the same error message.

The Hauppauge media player program still works, but with gbpvr I keep getting those .NET framework errors.

If you start the config app, then zip and attach the logs, then I'll take a look.
