Sub, Hi again.

Any reasons you could think of (apart from signal strength) why live preview would be fine, but any recording on the same channel (MTV) skips and stutters?

I'm using that cyberlink 1307(?) mux and it seems to do it on MVP or GBPVR PC (which makes me assume it's been recorded that way rather than the playing of it).

I'm not really sure. MTV works smoothly here.

How often is it skipping or stuttering?

Do you know if the signal strength is slightly weaker on that mux (626000KHz)? The do vary slightly in signal strength for me.

I also sent you a PM with a suggestion.

It's skipping pretty often - but only on a recording. Live you don't tend to notice it much.

I'll have a look out for a thing to report the signal strength and look at getting an amplifier.

Should probably also do a defrag, although I think I have one scheduled every coupke of weeks.

Have been playing with different mux versions and then switched to Dvr-ms.

Will look at the videos later to check which are ok which are not. But in the gbpvr-recordingservice-native found it checking the signal strength:
Code:
checking signal stats took total: 219ms (1,1,255,100).....(,0,0,0)

Which I understand is the highest??

I'll figure out which mux is best later on...
