yeah I know, I posted before I looked at the log file.

I've got something basic working now,so I'll just polish it up a bit. I was even monitoring another machine since the one I was doing dev on didn't have mbm. I might add that in later the ability to monitor more than one machine if somebody wants to.

the multiple machines is interesting, though i cant think of any reason i personally would need it.

nah, neither, but it just worked so it was a "feature" I could add.

I think if I do it right it could just turn out to be a configurable xml reader/displayer which could be kind of useful.

I know for myself I have another program that tracks my internet usage and puts out an XML file, so it could probably read that as well.

Actually I have a number of machines running in my household which also act as file servers - parsing that information and displaying the results would be kinda handy.... Would this be done by installing MBM on the other machines and then saving the .xml file across the network? (I never thought of this possibility before)

yeah that's all it is.

Ok with this MBM thing, basically all I'm going to do is display whatever is inthe xml file. So if you don't want it displayed don't put it in. Although I may make it so that you can open it in the config program and select which elements to display.
