no tracks for Howlin' Wolf

Hi,

I have a few tracks from Howlin' Wolf, but in ML2, they don't show up. Howlin' Wolf does, the album does, but the track pane renames empty.

I renamed & retagged one track to Howlin Wolf, and now it does show up, so it seems the ' is the culprit. Could this be changed?

There is a problem with tracks that have an apostrophe (') in one of their tags. If in the left pane or the top right pane one of the entries contains an apostrophe, then there are no songs visible in the bottom right pane.

For example the track "Back door man" from "howlin' wolf" from the album "The London Sessions"

In the artist/album view there is no way to see this track
in the album/artist view when selecting the album The london sessions, the track is visible,but when you navigate to artist, the track dissapears.

It is not only artists that suffer from this apostrophe also albums (a hard day's night), composers, and probably genre too.

Could this be fixed in the next release?

Which version are you on cakes? The last stable or one of the betas?

Ok, there shouldn't be any difference with the betas....I'll have a look - I thought this was addressed a while back..

Hi,

Just upgraded to 1.0.16 and first could not start ML2, it even caused PVXR2 to block completely. So decided to look into the plugin directory and noticed some ML2 dll's where both in \plugins and in \plugins\Musiclibary2.

So I removed everything and reinstalled 6.5 and then ML2 was working again. And what's more, also the apostrophe problem disappeared !

Ok, good to know about the apostrophes.

Shouldn't have been any dlls in the Plugins directory, I don't think I was putting anything in there - but if you wanted to use gbpvr (as opposed to pvrx2) then dlls did have to go in there.
