Hi,
Does anyone know of a (preferably free) EQ that effects audio output in realtime? I have an old SoundBlaster Live! card which included software that allowed this but after an MB upgrade with onboard sound I did not put the card back in. There's a US$20 upgrade I can purchase that will give me realtime effects but I do not believe that it will give me a proper EQ.
I'd love to not have to put the old Live! card back in if anyone can help me!!
Cheers.
Matt.

Sorry all, no-one has come across anything like this I guess?
Looks like I'm going to have to install the SBLive card then...

Thanks for the suggestion elite but I'm using a PVR-350 output for decoding. I guess that doing anything like this purely in software would need to be an implemented in the audio driver in order to acheive results without an unacceptable amount of latency being introduced. (The SBLive card uses hardware effects.)
Cheers!

Ah I see...

Any chance of handling the EQ/effects at the amp end of things?

Yeah, not until I upgrade that end of everything. I'm using my TV speakers which does allow 3 band EQ but it effect all inputs. I was also EQing the line-in of the sound card (PVR350 audio out) seperately so that my music was not altered.
Cheers!
