Fair enough. As much as I'd like to promise I wont change the skins, thats not really practical at this stage while things are still evolving.

that's ok, no problem. one can not plan a whole software without changing the code on the way :-) one last question: is there any possibility to introduce animation to the main menu? rolling and zooming menu - buttons for example....

So while there is actually software based decoder, a basic capture card is not supported?
DVD works, TVGuide works, but liveTV "Failed to communicate with the GB-PVR Recording Service...possibly not running.." Although it is in the tray and says 'sleeping' In my GBPVR.exe.txt file I see : StartRecordingLiveTV() failed: System.NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object. Server stack trace: at System.Exception.get_Source()

jnekos, you should post your question in the support forum. Also what card do you have?

My fault... I am using a Conexant 878A capture card (plain vanilla). Â I also have an ATI AIW 9000 Pro, but that isn't on the list either. Â Oh well, back to Tivo. Â Bummer, nothing in this space is 'done' yet. Â Snapstream isn't a service, MediaCenter is picky and proprietary, myth is a mini dev project, ATI MC and TV2000 are just for TV on PC (not a PC on a TV). Â Few support multiple tuners, no integration with other equipment like the DVD megajukebox S1 or A1 Control. anyway, good luck on the project... I'll stop back later.
