I did the usual and upgraded as soon as it came out (within minutes this time). But I lost my plug-ins, etc. Decided to back out and wait a while in case there were major issues.

Did fresh install the other day, reinstalled compatible plugins - looks really good. Anyone got MyVideos working? this is the best plug in ever.. some simple things I don't see any other video player doing - shows watch videos in a different colour.. great when you've watched a few programs in a series but don't know what episode you're up to. Also can configure so it doesn't so the part of the file name if it's the same is the folder name..

Interface is wicked! Just need weather forecast to come up on main page and get rid of the menu cycling.

I have myvideos working fine. it is the final RC3? version I think.

it DOES has a weird screen draw problem when used with pvrx2 and community skin beta 3. The buttons on the left are too far left and the default folders have disappeared off the top of the screen. Pressing right arrow a few times drags it into shape.

Using PVRX2 in XP and with MVP. Some major disk thrashing when I first run the UI in XP but no other problems so far.

yes but I have a TV and cinema system that is far too clever for its own good.

the audio output of the MVP goes into the aux input of the cinema system, but if the tv is off, then when you turn it on again say to see what the title of a particular music track is, the system decides you actually want to watch television and switches the audio to the tv input which is really annoying

How do you use the old GBPVR interface on the MVP with 1.0.8??? Is there a magic box to check that I have not found yet? I have looked at many skin choices, but I still have not found one that is quite as clear on my TV via the MVP. On the PC the PVRX2 is way cool, but not through the MVP yet for me.

Believe it or not, I'm not even using an HTPC. Haven't been for the last 5-6 months. I got all my parts for a new one the day before the Zap2It announcement came out and I have not had time to put it together. GB-PVR is on my 2 dev machines but I have so much crap on them I would not trust it for "critical" recordings.

I'm still running .97 on my client in the living room. Not really a client, it just plays back recorded shows and movies off the server or my NAS (NSLU2 running Debian). It doesn't normally have a keyboard or mouse attached so upgrading is a bit of a hassle. Also, my wife (after several years of GBpvr) has finally gotten somewhat comfortable using it. My 8 year old daughter has no trouble at all...

My recording/server machine is running pvrx2.

The one where they are shutting down their free listings.
