No OSD

I've been playing with the new interface (with the 2nd monitor patch), and noticed a problem: I don't see the OSD controls for either live video (pause, etc.) or recorded video (forward, back, pause, play, etc.). I see the bottom title bar and position indicator up top, but not the controls themselves.

There is no OSD mouse controls in the new user interface yet. They were a low priority to me, and not something I got around to implementing for this first release of the new UI.

Fair enough... might want to put it in the survival guide for those like me who are without a remote, and feeling like we're missing something (unless of course it's there and I just missed it, in which case forget I said anything).

I know where you're coming from, but I've only bothered to list things which I think are important.... You can guess what it's like though - everyone thinks something different is absolutely essential and should be made clear to everyone. We'd have a list of items several pages long if I tried to list everything that was missing or had some limitations.

there is a plugin for touch screen users... but I dont know if it works with PVRX2, you could ask the dev of that plugin... he may be able to switch it over/update it
