MVP letterbox??

I need to confirm something. Is it normal for the MVP to display as letterbox for the default Blue skin? When videos start, it goes full screen, but when the menus are up, the screen looks like letterbox. I'm sure it used to be full screen on my 4x3 TV.

Check your tv-shape in gbpvr-config-playback, that should be 4:3.
Otherwise your mvp might be set to 16:9 somehow, you can change that with the hauppauge sw or if you are using the mvpmc-dongle you can change that through the mvpmc-menu.

I meant the hauppauge software (that comes with the mvp), when you run that you can set the tv-shape in the settings screen. It will stick when you reload the gbpvr software.

In theory mvpmc respects that setting too.
