FCC decision on analog cable cut off

Its long been known that the FCC had decided that analog OTA transmissions would cease in 2009, but what this would mean for analog cable has been up in the air. There is now some new info on this: http://arstechnica.com/news.ars/post/200...-2012.html. Sounds like there will be analog cable signals available until at least 2012.
