What is going on when my log says the following

Quote:Requesting recording service schedule reload
2007-10-03 04:11:52.357 VERBOSE [8] Found potential match at 10/16/2007 10:00:00 PM (EP006114420011)
2007-10-03 04:11:52.357 VERBOSE [8] Found potential match at 10/16/2007 11:00:00 PM (EP006114420064)
2007-10-03 04:11:52.357 VERBOSE [8] - skipping episode because a schedule recording already matches this episode: EP006114420064
2007-10-03 04:11:52.357 VERBOSE [8] Found potential match at 10/17/2007 12:00:00 AM (EP006114420006)
2007-10-03 04:11:52.357 VERBOSE [8] - skipping episode because a schedule recording already matches this episode: EP006114420006
2007-10-03 04:11:52.357 VERBOSE [8] Found potential match at 10/17/2007 2:00:00 PM (EP006114420034)
2007-10-03 04:11:52.357 VERBOSE [8] - skipping episode because it is not on the correct day of the week: Wednesday (DayMask:4)
2007-10-03 04:11:52.357 VERBOSE [8] received request to reload schedule

Is this because it is attempting to record and there is a conflict that is not showing up in the UI. Or is it some how looking at episodes that I have recorded before and is skipping those that have been recorded below for the entire history of the DB? Is there a way to find out what these shows are that it is trying to match? Thanks.

When it says "skipping episode because a schedule recording already matches this episode: EP006114420064" this is because there is already a 'pending' or 'ready' recording in your database for the show 'EP006114420064'.

To check you can use a SQLite tool like SQLiteSpy to look in the database at the RECORDING_SCHEDULE table. You should see an entry already for the show 'EP006114420064'.

So then what is the purpose of the previouse episode table? it stores all of the episodes I have already recorded does it check if say I record a show , delete it and then it shows up again on EPG will it record again?
Also why are there references to my local drive in the recording schedule Table? Thanks just trying to understand.

Yes, it will also look in their for recordings that you've recorded and deleted recently, and not reschedule those shows. By default it'll retain the show ID's in that table for 40 days, but you can reduce it, or set it to zero by tweaking the following setting in config.xml:

<RetainedPreviousEpisodeDays>40</RetainedPreviousEpisodeDays>

These are the file names of recordings. It obviously needs the filename when you want to play the recording.
