Skin TaskImages & _TaskImages directory

I feel like a fraud posting in here as making a plugin is way more complicated than doing a skin & the knowledge you have leaves me for dead, Oh well here goes anyway

While doing my skin I put the taskimages into the sub directories the same way I did for the earlier versions but while looking in the log saw skin taskimage errors pointing to a _TaskImages directory I then created this directory & moved the images into it renaming them recordings.png etc. & the errors in the log disappeared but then Fatman_do posted this message

About Task Images.

Plugins are coded to show the file "task.png" in the plugin's folder.
For example "..\skin2\SkinNameHere\TVGuide\Task.png"
The main menu has to have task images enabled to see the images (which it looks like this skin does).

There is no use for a folder called "_TaskImages".
It does nothing.
MixMan used it for storage during installation and theme changing in his skins, and that may be causing some confusion.

I know that he is not totally correct as I get taskimages displaying on both my test PC & the MVP server PC & over the MVP. Is this the right place for the images in pvrx2?

In theory the plugins are supposed to return the task.png file or some other graphic when asked for their task image, but some dont, so to work around this I also added support for looking in the _TaskImages directory for images with the same name as the plugin.

So there should be no reason that having them in the _TaskImages directory should cause a problem? Or should I have them in both places?

I wonder if you could advise me how to get task images for the Movie Wizard, SearchWiz2 and Skins selections. No matter where I put them as in _TaskImages mentioned here or in the respective community 3 folder in the path C:\Program Files\devnz\gbpvr\skin2\Community3\Custom
the images don't appear in the pvrx2 menu. I'm running sassari style I believe with customisations to buttons etc.

I havnt used these specific plugins but it should be able to find the task images for them in
"C:\Program Files\devnz\gbpvr\skin2\Community3\_TaskImages" if you give them the same name as the plugin + .png.
