Frankly the internet is big enough that you flatter yourself if you think that I was talking about you!

There are so darn many ATI cards with ther 650 name in it that it get rather confusing.

After spendinf lierally all day messing with this thing, I did finally get this card:
http://ati.amd.com/products/tvwonder650/usb/index.html

to do QAM tuning on my Verizon FIOS using the ATI SW.

I was watching football in High def from my local network station on my Verizon FIOS cable using the ATI Catalyst SW.

I did not see if I as getting any analog stations because I could care less about Analog. I want the digital stations so I can watch/record the High Def broadcasts.

So at least I now know I have the right driver and HW in the 650 to get this thing to QAM tune my digital local stations on my Verizon FIOS cable .

If this post seems confusing, it is because I have been at this all day and am tired.

GBPVR could not fid any stations with this card but that is now step 2 to get this all to work.

BTW, I have been using GBPVR with a QAM tuning HVR1600 since September. I ran out of the standard PCI slots so I can not use another HVR1600 to get my dual tuner setup to work. That is why I went with this ATI product

I know this doesnt really help you, but the HVR1800 also does QAM but uses the smaller PCI 1X slot. Worth mentioning in case others were unaware.

I've been quite specific in my recommendations when it comes to QAM devices since I know only few devices definitely work. Some of the others devices, like your ATI 650, are in the 'unknown and good chance of not working' category.
