I'm just wondering if there is a way to increase the buffer on audio. When I'm listening to Audio through EWA, there is a lot of hang-ups...

Is the issue on your host machine or general network? I have found most cases it is a network issue that can be addressed at the client end rather than at the server end....that is if you are using VLC as your client player as well.

If you are using VLC:
  • Start VLC
  • Go into Preferences
  • Go under Input Codecs
  • Go under HTTP(S)
  • Click the Advanced settings check box (lower right-hand corner)
  • Set the caching value to something that works for your situation...I have mine set at 2000 which is 2 seconds.
  • Click Save.
VLC on the Client will now cache how ever many seconds you set it to....

Let me know how you make out.

Thanks for the response--i was talking more about music streaming (rather than audio of videos)...

What I provided works for anything coming in via HTTP....which means wether it be a video or just an audio stream it will work.

Try it and let me know.
