Hi Jeff

I am on 1.1.5 and I just did a clean install on VA because it would not find new shows in my recording directory. I have the latest "test version" off the wiki. I uninstalled the old VA and deleted the VA stuff from config manually and dumped the Jeff directory. Everything installed fine and it found and populated all shows that were in my recording directory. Problem is it will not add any new shows that I record. This happens if it is another episode of a show or a new show altogether. I just tried to update it using F11 and it updates, but does not find the new "Magic Schoolbus" program (which is in the same directory as all the other recordings). I have attached the logs. I am sure I goofed something up, but can't find it for my life.

Thanks for the help.

It seems like the very latest version is not working quite as well as some of the slightly older ones (for me and others).

Personally, I have had better results with the september version. You can PM me if you want to give it a spin and don't have it available. Just until Jeff comes up with the magic fix (soon please Jeff Big Grin)

Thanks nia and stu- I will try both suggestions. Does the older version keep telling you that you need to upgrade? That is why I upgraded and I think that is when my problems started come to think of it.

I think I have an older version. I will look.

I did not have an older version but tried enableing the whats new and it found the new show. I will live with it for a while this way and see if it updates correctly.

Thanks for all the help. Also, thanks to Jeff. I know the only time you hear from us is when we are complaining. Your stuff rocks and I am greatful for all of your pluginsSmile
