I installed this version
http://gbpvr.com/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Utili...ed.v69.zip

followed these instructions:
* Download a copy from a link above
* Stop the Recording Service
* Delete all contents and directories in the gbpvr\web folder (except for the bin directory…removing this will cause GBPVR to reinstall the default Web Admin)
* Delete only the AjaxPro2.dll, eWorld.UI.dll, Rss.dll, Rss.pdb and Rss.Net.dll files from the gbpvr\web\bin directory
* If a gbweb.dll file exists in the gbpvr\web\bin directory it should be deleted
* Extract the zip into your gbpvr folder using the option to use directory names. This will load all the files into your gbpvr\web directory and subdirectories.
* Restart the Recording Service
* Hit Refresh in your Web Browser (important to reload cached files that might have changed)

i opened internet exploere to this url
http://localhost:7647/gbpvr/guide.aspx

I get this:

Code:
The page cannot be displayed
The page you are looking for is currently unavailable. The Web site might be experiencing technical difficulties, or you may need to adjust your browser settings.

so i try this (my computers address)

http://192.168.1.101:7647/gbpvr/guide.aspx

same thing.

I go to my firewall and allow gbpvr and pvrx2 internet access. same thing....

i start gbpvr and i start pvrx2 and try the web address and no gooo

really lost here

any help would be greatly appreaciated

no

that must be it! ok I will try to find that file and post back

tytyty

cannot locate gbpvr-config-misc....

hint?

heh

ok I found it!

here are the actual steps that need to be followed

* Download a copy from a link above
* Stop the Recording Service
* Delete all contents and directories in the gbpvr\web folder (except for the bin directory…removing this will cause GBPVR to reinstall the default Web Admin)
* Delete only the AjaxPro2.dll, eWorld.UI.dll, Rss.dll, Rss.pdb and Rss.Net.dll files from the gbpvr\web\bin directory
* If a gbweb.dll file exists in the gbpvr\web\bin directory it should be deleted
* Extract the zip into your gbpvr folder using the option to use directory names. This will load all the files into your gbpvr\web directory and subdirectories.
* locate and run "config.exe" navigate to the "Misc" tab and enable the "Webserver"
* save and restart Record Service.

Thanks HtV that did it!

Wiki should be adjusted to include that step as I was completely lost and it will help new members get started quicker

cheers!

Just open the config-appl. Then go to the misc-tab.

The info for doing this is actually on the wiki.....in the config section which was right after the installation section.

I did update the config section to read a little clearer. I also moved the Configuration section to be before the Install section and made the first bullet in the Install area to be follow and complete the configuration section if you have not already done so.

Thanks.
