How come there is no MUTE button inside the GB-PVR, but only for that.
Would like to watch livetv muted and with sound from other program.

I know that with Vista it's possible to turn down the volume for every window, but not with XP.

Thx
System specs:
Win7, Intel Dual Core 2.40GHz, 4GB Ram, GeForce 8800 GTS 640 MB, Asus P5B-PLUS Mobo.
Hauppauge PVR500 dual tuner.

Definitely the Mute control is by far the most important thing missing (?) from GBPVR watching TV on your computer monitor. (?)

Does anyone have an answer?

While you're watching a video you should be able to press Ctrl-M to toggle the mute.

I've got v0.96.12 according to my config, and that's not the newest, but not old either.

Ctrl-M doesn't work, for video playback or TV either one. The arrow buttons work, the pause button works, etc.

That was from February 2006. Over two years ago now.

You mean mute works now???

Which version should I up to, if I do not want or need HD, just bug free reliability?

Mute was added for live tv and video playback some time in the past, and works in the current release.

I always recommend the current release.
