While details are sparse at the moment, but things look good, It works with media center, it states it for vista media center (it sucks that it looks like it might be only vista supported)
Since it works with media center that would suggest that it uses bda drivers so hopefully there isn't any stupid requirements to work only with media center
It would make my day to be able to get directtv and possibly hd programming recording on gbpvr
