Remote reciever help?

So I wanted to get some input from you all on this. Basically I have replaced my Hauppauge remote with a logitech all in one. Can I use my old hauppauge remote in a different room with a different ir reciever?

Here is my setup

Server:
Hauppauge 150
Logitech remote

Remote Client
?? Reciever
Hauppauge 150 remote
