Are there any known problems with the OSD? On my setup the volume is drawn strange and the time labels on the timeline are out of alignment. I can get a screenshot tonight if one is needed.

BTW, I really like the new look, a good selling point for the CS idea! Smile

Yep of course, I did it :o. Editing XML's is not my strong suit and any that I altered were really meant as a guide, an idea/suggestion more than final format, I'm not really in the position to check compatibitly on a wide range of stuff and I think fatman_do should get a medal for his work on the tedious boring task that it is Smile.

Anyway I've had another stab at it  and if you want you can try it out and see if it's any more compatible. It's based on the default skin.xml shipped with sub's blue theme, I've tried to alter as little as possible so that if it looks okay with the blue skin it should look okay with this one.

Yeah I get that too, I think it's because the skin is loading the old default blue skin vol.png and also over writting with this old png when the skin or maybe theme is changed.

I've attached a replacement for both and it'd be great if you could try them out and see if any thing improves. I think fatman_do mentioned that he was away this week so we might have to wait till he gets back before he can okay any formatting.

Cheers

This is true. During the early days of the Community Skin it was my least favourite thing - I always tried to get "distracted" with the SkinPlugin Smile Pleased with the end result tho, user feedback has been good although it would be nice to get a larger user base.

Improved? It's perfect, thanks!

I also want to thank you for your work on the Community Skin, it's a fantastic idea. Hopefully more people will begin to not only use it but contribute, I think there's probably a whole heap of people out there tweaking their skins and maybe they'll now feel like they can contribute without the colossal task of building a theme from scratch.
