Hi all,

Thanks to Sub for excellent effort, which I have been evaluating for the last week.
After a bit bad start and complete reinstall of windows things have started to work ok now.

Few questions though:

I have noticed some difference on the PC version to the MPV, like:

1 - The mini guide works on PC but not on MVP along with all other overlays, should it work on MVP

2 - The resume option on the MVP doesn't prompt for resume or not, it goes to pause mode and if pressing the 'OK' button it resumes but if I don't want to resume, what button do I press and should there be a prompt?

3 - Is there any other obvious differences between the PC vs MVP software.

4 - is it normal to have to restart the GB-PVR-MPV software regularly, and if so, how often should I expect to have to restart it.

Thanks in advance for your effort in answering this questions.

I dont know why its not working for you, but GB-PVR does show the OSD on the MVP, and the resume prompt, so its not really a difference (but rather a bug when running on your machine). What version of the Hauppauge MVP software is installed on your machine?

It *shouldn't* need restart, but there is still a few bug which can cause it to do this. The good news is that if you can identify what sequence of events cause these restarts to be required, and can convey it clearly to me, I'll fix it.

Thanks Sub for quick reply.

After I reinstalled XP the restarts seems to have stopped, think something was wrong with the .net 1.1 framwork.

running fine at the moment less the overlay which I haven't managed to get working. Can only think something is wrong with my setting (default for all setting accept for where values are needed) or my remote settings which are default as well.
I didn't install the MediaMVP software as I have router to do the DHCP. Could that be the problem?

Thanks,

Thor
