Hi,
I know this question has been asked lots of times, but I can`t seem to get my head around it to make it work.

So my setup has 3 MVP`s (192.168.0.3 , 192.168.0.4 , 192.168.05)

So first of all I create a directory in C: called MVPC and then right click and allow this folder to be shared.

In that directory I create a file using notepad with the following text

mvpmc --startup emulate --emulate 192.168.0.3 --emulate 192.168.0.4 --emulate 192.168.0.5 --em -wolwt 20 &

and save it without the .txt

Is this correct???

Thanks for any advice

I only have my server's IP address listed after the "-- emulate" section. None of my MVP's are listed there.

Oh right that`s where I`m going wrong, I`ll try changing it to 192.168.0.1 (My routers IP address) or should it be 192.168.0.2 (My PC`s ip address).

I`ll try both when I get home after work

Thanks

Pete

Mine looks like this

if [ $MAC = "00:0D:FE:00:F6:4E" ]; then
mvpmc -a 4:3 -o composite --em-wolwt 13 --startup emulate --emulate 192.168.3.9 &
else
mvpmc -a 16:9auto --em-wolwt 13 --startup emulate --emulate 192.168.3.9 &
fi

where 192.168.3.9 is the ip of my GBPVR machine and 00:0D:FE:00:F6:4E the MAC address found under on of my two MVPs.

works like a charm thanks to Sub, Martin and a bunch of others.
