My family is moving to a house and will have to leave my analog cable setup behind (Hauppauge PVRUSB2) or at least hoping to do so. Instead I am now looking into DVB-T with CI support. I have been looking at FireDTV box (digital-everywhere) but reading the forums it does not seem that GBPVR has CI support. And the last thing I want to do is to leave GBPVR or my wife will leave me

Since I trust this forum more than my mother I am now seeking advise. What options do I have to get the setup I want? I still would like the turner to be external since my small shuttle SB61G2v3 dont have any more room or it will melt.

Ahhh, and i am also looking into this new popcorn thingy, but thats another story....I see sub and others are making progress in that area.

Thanks in advance,

There is no CI support at this stage, but some users do recive these channels in Sweden by using a regular DVBT capture device, their smartcard with a Pheonix smartcard reader, and multidec plugins. This is what people often refer to as Softcams, or software CAM modules.
