I'm not personally writing an next gen HD extender client, but I have been providing assistence to Martin, who is working to get the mvpmc emulation client working on the Popcorn Hour, with all the nice highdef features. He is doing a great job and its coming a long nicely.

If you're thinking about buying a popcorn hour device in the future, its probably worth getting on the 'couple of month long' waiting list at the manufacturers website. By the time you get to the front of the queue you'd have seen plenty of feedback from others to determine if you want to proceed with the purchase or not.
