I've had 1.1.5 running in NZ with a PVR150 and PVR150MCE great. I got sick of waiting for Freeview over DVB-T, so I added a Nova-S-Plus to the mix. I had to clear all the drivers during the install to get the Nova visible. All the cards are in the system and all are working well.
Unfortunately, recordings are not stopping. If I'm recording several channels at once, they just keep going until I notice, making 11hours or 21 hours of recordings. Other times, a recording will say it is recording, but stop part way through. Desperate Housewives on 2 (10/3/08) recorded for many hours, but created 12 minutes of viewable program, making me very unpopular.
I added the patch related to the stopping recordings, then noticed the new version. Unfortunately these haven't helped. I've scheduled a couple of daily restarts of the recording service to help stop any runaway recordings.
Until the new version, I have been using GBPVR, since the new version, I've been using PVRX2.
Would a complete box rebuild fix the problem? I've been thinking of a new case that's more appliance-like and could do it all at once. I'd be sad if I did a rebuild and the problem stayed around.
Attached log files include trouble period of last 7 days, but are missing today as machine is in use.
Thanks
Thanks
