anyone have an x1x series card and managed to get it going? hard to find a definitive guide + i am just going around in circles...

just to clarify im talking anything here, i do not have a dvb-t card as yet so im not trying to get DVB-t freeview|HD going, just seeing how it can handle some downloaded h.264 for when i do get a dvb-t card.

I'm not sure the x1600 supports all the H264 features required for the profile used by Freeview|HD. I think you need an ATI HD 2400 or above.

ah. might just go for an 8400 GS - the price is right, at least. Unless the 2400 xt will do it well. Good thing im waiting to find out, really - i think ill see by the trial and error of others on this one.
