In the next couple of weeks, I'm going to start the PCH wiki page. In advance of that (an to complement that), I'd like to have a thread where we can assemble everything we know about the PCH for inclusion in the wiki.

What I am looking for here:
Tweaks to the install guide - Martin has done a great job of assembling the install guide, and I will use that as my reference, but if there are wording issues you'd like changed, let me know.
Features of the PCH when used with GBPVR
Limitations when used with GBPVR
Plugins that work
Specific plugin functionality that does not yet work
Remote reference
you get the idea

What I am not looking for in this thread:

New questions - this should be a collection of questions that Sub, Martin, and/or the rest of the community have answered already and are just being compiled for inclusion in the wiki. If you have a new question that you cannot find a solution for, please post a new thread and just post the resolution (feature or limitation) here.

I realize that as the wiki get created, this thread will become obsolete, but this will give us the initial push.

Thank you all for your help in advance. I've been around the forums for a while, but have not posted much. I'm excited to have this opportunity to give back.

hey, so I see you're also interested in this. I created a thread in the documentation forum, because I think it would be beneficial to get a bit of guidance before we start hacking away at the wiki.

remember, we can start filling in information on the wiki without adding links to it, so we can get things looking the way we want them before it is generally browseable Smile.

yeah, I'm looking forward to this. I saw the thread you posted as well. For now, we're asking two separate things - one about structure and one about content. I think it's ok to have these as separate threads, but should mine be in the documentation forum? Thoughts?

As far as timeline, I'm a high school teacher, so my schedule eases off a lot in a few weeks, which is when I plan on starting major work on the wiki. If you have stuff done before then, I'd be happy to be a second pair of eyes.

I haven't edited a wiki page before, so I'm unaware of the functionality and set-up in terms of building pages before linking them, although that certainly makes sense. I'll start test driving soon.

you will have to get wiki access, there should be instructions (I believe it involves PMing blader_se)

as for our motives, I want content as well, but I know that the correct place to start is with structuring the information properly. I think we have gotten in hammered out now (for structure) so I am going to start making content (see the other thread for links).

cheers
