i have many, many reoccurring recordings which i delete on a weekly basis - the best example is the simpsons on the weekend on the box - 12 episodes or so, and i have seen most of them, most of the time. Is it currently possible (or would it be easy enough to implement) a one button delete? or perhaps a way to 'control click' so you can multiply select shows to delete them? i use 'whats new' as the default view in the recordings library, so going into folders isnt a issue for me as a rule...

Also, as a side request, a keep flag + automatic delete of files if disk is too full would be nice.

another q, is it possible to see the correct amount of room left on the server from a client? currently i seem to be seeing the clients hdd space left, not the actual space left on the server.

Thanks!
Brendon

Does this help?

ll try control k, thanks

the directories in config are all pointed towards my E drive, which is my recordings drive. Full access is allowed to the drive, so i dont know... the only ones that arent are pointed at my video files + mp3's, etc. Everything else pointed to E drive.

On the first of the two miscellaneous tabs in the config file, you will see
Confirm Delete in Recordings:If this is checked, you will be asked for confirmation when deleting in the Recordings screen.
Confirm Delete in Video Library:If this is checked, you will be asked for confirmation when deleting in the Video Library screen.

I haven't tried it, but I think that if you check only one of the two, you can use the main menu to select how to access the recordings and when you access your recordings from the video library menu, you could have one button delete, while retaining the confirm delete feature when you access your recordings in the regular way from the recordings menu.

yeah, id rather be able to do it from the recordings menu - if i wanted to do it from outside, id just remote in using VNC like i normally do and do it from the folder - the issue is that ive screwed my database before by just deleting the files and i want to avoid this.
