I don't see any attempt to play a DVD.

Ok, I don't think I did it right. Try this. I try to play the dvd twice. Once with D:\ and once with \\192.168.0.4\DVD

Interesting there might be a pvrx2 bug on requests from a root folder It seems to ask to play D:\\video_ts\VIDEO_TS.IFO

Try mkdir /mnt/D:\\\\ with the matching mount

I've been mis-leading you all along and because of the wrong PVRx2 filename, which doesn't really impact my logic, I fixed it the wrong way

To share at the root level I would try and use

mkdir /mnt/D\:
with the correct mount
