pvr150 IRblaster control of Digibox problem

Hi

I know the new pvr150's IR blaster is not fully supported in gbpvr but I'm having a problem just geting it to control my STB even before I reinstall gbpvr, so I must ask for a little help here otherwse I won't be able to go further....... especialy as Hauppauge are of no help!

I've tried every code in 'BlastCfg' to get Pvr150's IR Blaster to work with my STB (A Panasonic TU-DSB30) but to no avail. I've tried different advanced setting, saving everytime everything and even restarting IR.exe each time, nothing works. The IR transmitter just blinks and nothing happens on my STB (NB: The IR tx is stuck right in front of my STB IR eye).

Please is there somebody that can help me here?? Has anybody got the Pvr150 IR Blaster workng with a Panasonic Sky Digibox yet?

Its a little difficult to tell from your wording, but if you're trying to use it with GB-PVR: Its not yet supported at all in GB-PVR. The blaster hardware is just not used, but should be in the next release.

If you having problems getting the blaster working with WinTV, or even just testing it in blastcfg, you may wont to post a question on http://www.shspvr.com. They have a few hauppauge visitors, that may be able to answer your question.

I do understand it isn't woking yet in gbpvr but I can't even get it working with Hauppauge's 'BlasterCfg' program and I have posted a question on thier forum without luck I was hoping someone on this forum had bumped into the same problem, before I reinstall gbpvr.

You said in the next version of gbpvr the pvr150 IR blaster will be supported but if that still relies on Hauppauge's IR blaster software (when it comes to the 'BlasterCfg' program and choosing a STB) in the background, then that won't help me either....

Maybe I'm stubburn but I'd prefer to use GBPVR not WinTV2k.

Yes, it will still rely on the Hauppauge software, so you're correct - You'll need to find a way to get the device working with blastcfg.
