joypad control?

Hey Guys,
Ive been looking at setting up a machine with gbpvr.

I was just wondering if i can use my xbox joypad to control the softwares functions?

i have always used my joypad for games on the pc with no trouble as apart from a funny connector its just a usb gamepad.

just wondering if this is possible or not.

If you have some utility that will take the joypad key presses and use that to send fake keyboard keystrokes to the foreground application, then I cant see why not. Remotes work this same way. ie, the app only knows about keyboards, and remotes pretend to someone typing at the keyboard - you could do the same with your joypad.

Google would probably be your best bet. I dont remember anyone using a joypad in the past.

its called joy2key.

if like me, you dont yet have a remote, but you do have a gamepad then this should be quite a usefull little app!
