Tired of hurricanes

Ike is scary and it's path once in the Gulf of Mexico is very uncertain. I'm hopeful it will weaken when (if) it hits Cuba and peter out. I'm also hopeful this is the last of them for the season or they just go into the Atlantic and die out.
Even though N.O. didn't get a direct hit, I lost power for 5 days and just got it back. I live in the burbs just outside of N.O. and though the damage was minor, we're all weakened by the stress of what could happen.

Yeah, I'm not liking Ike at all. If it swings south, it hits my family in the Cayman Islands. If it swings North, it hits my family in Florida then onto the gulf, probaby the Florida pan handle. If it continues straight, it goes into the gulf and goes God knows where. I'm hoping people don't think, "well the last one didn't do anything and I don't want to leave again." That would be very bad, Ike is already a category 4.
