I have been able to get UbuStream 2.2 working with GBPVR 1.3.7. It works both in list mode as well as Channel mode, although Channel mode is limited.

I don't recall doing anything unusual with the UbuS install, just followed the directions and went through all the different configuration items on the forum pages. Also checked the .rtf file in the plugins\UbuStream directory under GBPVR.

I also ran into the Skin problem, which I resolved by installing the Community 3 skin.

Of course you will need to setup appropriate configuration and station items in the UbuS config manager.

External recorder was a bit more challenging and I still don't have it working the way I would like. What I have working so far is a very basic channel mode config with stations that only work with the Windows Media Player config. Unfortunately the last playing stream does not close when I exit back to the GBPVR menu. It runs in full screen mode in the background including the sound. I have to exit GBPVR and then close the WMP app manually. So far no big deal as I'm the only one running this and can live with it due to the benefit I get from the streaming stations.

Since I didn't really keep track of how I got everything working (I went through a number of different things, not sure of sequence), but I think I can help answer anyone's questions and maybe get some ideas from others on how to better enable the channel mode.

Your right it work'sSmile

Quick How do it with 1.3.7 :

install the Community 3 skin
install vlc -player VLC 0.8.6
install External Recorder
install of course the ubustream 2

So do this :
start the GB-PVR config
go to tab - Captures Sources
klick - Add
choose - External Recorder plugin -none - No Channel Changer Required
Klick Settings - klick OK - klick Ok
Klick Ok in main GB-PVR config window

Restart GB-PVR config
go to tab - Captures Sources
choose your captures sources - klick Edit
EPG Sources : XMLTV Plugin
klick Settings - search for UbuStream.xml
klick OK - klick OK
Klick Ok in main GB-PVR config window

Start PVRX2
Now the look at WEBSTREAM and watch tv

So it works.
Hope this is helpfull.

Greetings from Denamrk

Are you guys suggesting it doesn't work with "blue" or were you trying to get it to run with "slick"?

Since I am increasingly desperate to find a solution to my UBURadio problem, I installed UBUStream and have attempted to configure it. Once again, I am using GBPVR 1.3.11, VLC 0.9.9, WMP11, Realplayer11, no quicktime (not required for UBURadio, though Quicktime Alternative is installed).

On Greg's list, I get as far as:
start the GB-PVR config
go to tab - Captures Sources
klick - Add
choose - External Recorder plugin -none - No Channel Changer Required
Klick Settings - klick OK - klick Ok
Klick Ok in main GB-PVR config window

Of course, I also give a name to the added source (a step that Greg doesn't list here). When I restart the config application and return to the capture sources tab, the listing that I just created is no longer shown. hence, I cannot proceed with the rest of Greg's start up list.

ALSO- When starting PVRx2 and clicking on WebStreams, I get the same response as with WebRadio (UBURadio) which is the slight dimming of the screen as if it is attempting to go to the application, and then a return to the main menu of PVRx2.

FINALLY - Since the installation of Community Skin 4 SD, I have been getting an error whenever the GBPVR recording service is stopped or started that says Unable to locate DLL: UbuRadio.XmlSerializers.dll. This error goes away when I completely uninstall UBURadio (and presumably UBUStream). NOW, with both UBURadio and UBUStream installed, I get an additional error that says "Unable to locate DLL: recorderHelper.DLL" whenever I am starting or stopping the GBPVR recording service (or starting or stopping PVRx2).
I do have .NET Framework 1.1 through 3.5 installed (including the all important 3.0 with service pack 2).

Sorry, support is not included with CS4, as those legacy xmls have not been updated.

So by this reply I wonder:
1. UBU Stream doesn't work with 1.3.11?
2. Or does UBUStream just not work with CS4? (which is what I suspect)
3. Or are you only saying that CS4 is generating the error messages (something that I pretty much knew already)?

I'm not trying to be a hard a**, I just need a little accuracy with the English language.

This plugin requires alot of jumping through hoops to get to work. It does work with 1.3.11, using CommunitySkin v3 only. This plugin will not work with CS4 unless I update those xmls.

I'll add that to my todo list, but I have been quite busy lately.
