Has anyone used this (light or full) and if so, does it work decently for connecting to a Windows 2003 Server?

Hi Whurlston,
I've been using it (the lite version) to connect to Windows XP Pro and find it workable. The screen on my ipod touch is a bit on the small side though for this and you need to pan and resize a lot. It's free, why not try it? Cakes

I was asking because I didn't have an iPhone. I ended up getting it yesterdayand the RDP client worked great. I'll be getting the full version though so I can save more connections.
My issue was that I needed a new phone and I got a Samsung Epix (Windows Mobile 6.1) instead of the iPhone because I needed RDP (there are occasions when I need to do this and all I hae is my phone). Then I found out that WM 6.1 doesn't include RDP by default, and no manufacturer included the optional component in their builds. I know that the cab file is floating around the Net but I'm not about to use that to log into the accounting system of a multi-million dollar corporation. So I ended up getting the iPhone so that I can RDP into Windows; how's that for irony? |
