Crash on sat channels using live preview

Welcome back Sub!
My recurrent problem of live-preview of any sat channel causing a crash has returned I know that it does not affect many, but some others have had this issue...
It is so odd, because this behaviour seems truly random - it has been working perfectly for the last six weeks or so...
To be absolutely sure nothing was changed, I even did a forensic backup form an image made a week before the problem surfaced again.
Happens on SD or HD sat channels.

The event viewer error is always:

• Faulting application pvrx2.exe, version 1.0.0.0, stamp 00000033, faulting module ntdll.dll, version 5.1.2600.5512, stamp 4802a12c, debug? 0, fault address 0x0001070f.
  

With a follow-up information event;

• Bucket 993245430, bucket table 1, faulting application pvrx2.exe, version 1.0.0.0, stamp 00000033, faulting module ntdll.dll, version 5.1.2600.5512, stamp 4802a12c, debug? 0, fault address 0x0001070f.
  

After PVRX2 has terminated, usually this is left on the desktop:

• "The instruction at '0x7c911669' referenced memory at '0x00000000'. The memory could not be 'read'.
