Well, I'm not sure which step did it, but it sems to be working now. ML2 shows up in the config, I can get it going in PVRX2 (after copying the background.jpg). Now I just need to wait for a scan to complete to be totally sure. This usually takes a while. I'll check it tomorrow.
Thanks for all the help.
Jeff
Things seem to be functioning well, now. Thanks for the help. Though it seems that there is no album art being displayed. For some reason in the config, there isn't even the checkbox visible that lets me choose what I want displayed.
In other words, this, from the wiki:
"While Playing Show set the default viewing. Also sets whether playback position is shown. "
is not there. Any ideas? I'm currently at work, but I should be able to get a little time to work on it when I get home.
Thanks in advance,
Jeff
Yeah I think there's an issue with the album art display. There is a beta for MusicLibrary3 which I think includes a newer version of ML2 (confused yet??). In this I think I fixed the album art problem.
Also album art will display the file based album images if in the directories. But embedded images will only be shown if you have the taglib-sharp or ultraid3 libraries loaded.
I think that check box was for mvp users as it caused problems for the mvp users when the playback position was updated too frequently.
OK, maybe I'll try that ML3 when I get home, though I think I'm going to have to shovel snow, instead. Since ML2 is working OK for now, can I run ML2 and ML3 alongside each other, so I don't have to remove ML2?
No I'd try ML2 but I think it's bundled with the ML3 beta. And I don't think with the public beta version that they run together, it was something I had just found and started adding code for. I found that with both ML2 and 3 installed that one would say play tracks, and the other would respond to it, or they both would...
So what you do it take the install package, and Remove the one you don't want, i.e ML3. This will however put stuff back into the common directory. But you can move the files in plugins\common back into plugins\MusiLibrary2 before copying it to the gbpvr\plugins directory.
