I'm without power (again)

Oh, yeah, I heard about that on the radio this morning. Morning jackasses on KFI making jokes about most people being surprised that Kentucky had electricity in the first place, etc.

Largest power outage in KY history. 8,000 more people than the windstorm we got from last year's hurricane. I'm limping along on a small borrowed generator at the moment (have a web and email server that I need to keep running). Most people in my neighborhood have left their homes to stay elsewhere since generators are scarce and furnaces don't work without power. Luckily, I installed a gas fireplace sometime back that is powerful enough to heat the entire house. Now they are talking another possible snow storm on Monday.

Sorry to hear about that, that's terrible, my wife and I lost power for three days this last year and we thought we were going to go insane (and it was summer!). It was like living in the dark ages, hope you get hooked back up soon.
