When you mention the word beer, you owe me one!
A great game to play when installing software is one beer per reboot. Sadly, Vista and W7 don't make you boot as much. Sad

My laptop is 4 years old and is asking to be put to sleep. Don't use it much but I could get 2 now for what I paid for it 4 years ago. It's a great time to buy computers and hardware.

I do all my skinning work on a "Way over the hill" laptop (Celleron w 512mb, 40gb-hd). Could stand a newer one, but mine has enough power to get the job done. Battery is belly up so I have to leave it pluged in. Cost of a new battery is probably 1/3 cost of the cheapest thing on the market, which would run circles around what I have.

Crazy what happens to the prices of hardware.

My bro just got a netbook, and has it dual booting w/ OSx and Windoze XP.

Would be nice, but I like a lot of real estate when I develop. Dual screens baby!!! I'm keeping my eyes on some of the dual screen laptops coming out. (CAN YOU BELIEVE IT!?!?!)

This has both HDMI and VGA outputs so I can add an external monitor. Attaching my Gateway 22" Widescreen and flipping it to Portrait mode instead of Landscape give quite a bit of real estate. Wink
