I'm happy to report that teletext now works fine on all channels!
That puzzeled me, so I called my cable company and asked if they had made any changes, at first they said no, but further digging confirmed that they had replaced some cables, amplifiers etc in my segment of the physical cable-network. I went on to measure the signal strength and it was as earlier, about 67-69 db.
So what's the explanation? As far as I can see, the signal must have been noisy in some way earlier, and that fooled me to believe that the problem was at gbpvr (sorry Sub :o). But it worked fine on my tv-set? Well, the teletext-decoder in my tv-cards (PVR-150 and ATI-550) must be more sensitive to noise than my old tv-set.
Anyway, I can now get rid of my old tv which I keept just to be able to read teletext news while enjoying my morning coffee
